Comuvia Accountant — Privacy notice

Information and purpose

Comuvia Accountant accesses Comuvia LLC's QuickBooks Online company information, accounts, vendors, expenses, bills, payments, attachment metadata and financial reports when authorized by a company administrator. Records may include payee names, contact details and transaction descriptions.

Comuvia uses this information to review its own accounting, investigate contractor payments and compare expenses with internal cost records. The connection also uses authorization tokens to maintain approved access.

Processing and access

The connector runs on Comuvia-controlled infrastructure. Access to local credentials is restricted to the operator and system account. Accounting data and credentials are not displayed on this public website.

Depending on the operator's workflow, selected records may be processed by AI-assistant, hosting or backup providers used by Comuvia. Those providers' applicable service terms govern their processing. Operators should limit the information submitted to what the task needs; connection credentials must not be included in analysis requests.

Comuvia does not sell this accounting information or use it for advertising.

Retention and requests

Comuvia retains records and reports as needed for accounting, operational and recordkeeping purposes. Retained backups may contain earlier copies; disconnecting the application does not automatically remove those copies.

An authorized administrator can disconnect the application to stop ongoing access. For access, correction or deletion requests, contact Comuvia and mention "Comuvia Accountant privacy." Requests are reviewed against applicable recordkeeping obligations and the records Comuvia actually holds.
